Sapote is a self-initiated branding project exploring how design can make urban cycling feel more inclusive and approachable. Created in response to the often masculine and performance-driven aesthetics of the cycling industry, the concept reimagines a brand that appeals to women, children, and everyday city riders through a bold, contemporary visual identity.

 

The branding combines clean typography, abstract graphic patterns, and vibrant colour palettes to create a modern and expressive identity that extends across bicycles, digital platforms, social media, editorial design, and advertising. Every touchpoint was designed to position Sapote as more than a bicycle brand, it is a lifestyle brand that celebrates individuality and community.

 

This project allowed me to develop a complete brand system from concept to execution, demonstrating how strategic branding and visual storytelling can challenge industry conventions and create a more welcoming
cycling culture.
