Found Footage
Video Editing
This project explored the narrative potential of found footage by transforming existing video material (3 videos) into a cohesive visual story. Through careful selection, sequencing, and editing, disparate clips were recontextualised to create new meaning, atmosphere, and emotional impact.
The focus was on using pacing, rhythm, and visual continuity to build tension and guide the viewer through the narrative without relying on newly filmed content. Sound carefully chosen to unify footage, creating a consistent aesthetic while preserving the authenticity of the original material.
The project examined how editing can reshape context, demonstrating the power of montage to reinterpret existing imagery and construct compelling stories from previously captured moments.
